NBP signs agreement with Board of Revenue and PITB for collection of Stamp Duty/Taxes

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), the rustic’s greatest public sector industrial financial institution, has signed a tripartite with the Board of Revenue (BoR) of Govt. of Sindh and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for collection of Stamp Duty/Taxes on behalf of BoR and PITB.

The E-stamping is one of the landmark schemes introduced with the view to facilitate normal public/tax payers. The e-stamp papers might be issued on the decided on branches of NBP thru seamlessly built-in PITB’s device gadget and NBP’s Core banking System. The new function will allow real-time collection of Government earnings. The price range amassed might be settled with SBP centrally and e-challan might be equipped to treasury. This virtual resolution will save time, effort and price whilst getting rid of leakages in Government earnings.

The signing rite of e-Stamping Tripartite SLA (NBP, PITB and BOR) used to be held in Revenue House BOR, Karachi. Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman, Minister for Revenue, Baqullah Unnar, Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR), and Rizwan Sarfraz, Additional Director Finance SBP had been provide at the signing rite. Mr. Mahmood Akhtar Nadeem, Group Head Branch Operations signed SLA on behalf of NBP.
